What's next? Now that we have followed these children for a full academic year, an amazing archive of material exists that includes over 150 hours of footage. We are looking for partners who might consider working with Symmetree media to use this footage for Join Us! a series of educational films on the Integrated Kindergarten Program at the Bloorview MacMillan Children's Centre. These films will be designed specifically to act as triggers for further discussion in an educational setting. They would also serve as a resource for parents, educators, social workers, administrators, health care providers and others who care for children with special needs who are trying to better understand the educational needs of children with Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida and Larson's Syndrome. The National Film Board of Canada is interested in distributing and possibly co-producing this series.
